“Facets”: Finally, a Jadzia episode that I actually like! Maybe that’s because it’s really a Curzon episode? (Or is that an Odo episode?) ( If you don't mind, I'd like to borrow your bodies for a few hours. )

“Explorers” is the greatest filler episode of all time. Don’t misunderstand me! I love this episode. It’s truly great. Nothing happens to further the plot. But everything happens to further the character growth and I love DS9 for taking the time to develop that. ( You're not an in-between kind of guy. People either love you or hate you. )

Deep Space Nine sometimes gets a lot of crap for going to the Mirror Universe well too many times, but “Through the Looking Glass” is another fabulous visit to the other side. ( 'Do I get a vote?'
'Of course you do. It just doesn't count.' )

OK I know that Ferengi episodes are not generally beloved, but I thoroughly enjoy “Prophet Motive”. ( ''Greed is Dead', that's the tenth Rule of Acquisition.'

I don’t think that “Heart of Stone” is a bad episode. But I vastly prefer the Nog B-story to the Odo A-story. ( That's right. I want to be the first Ferengi in Starfleet. Now. Who do I see about getting a uniform? )

“Past Tense” is one of my favorite two-parters and I think it says a lot about the quality of the writing on DS9 that this one doesn’t even have anything to do with the Dominion.

I can never, ever remember that “Defiant” is The One with Tom Riker. And I genuinely like this one! ( The last time I was here, I was only able to spend a couple of hours at Quark's - but by the time I left, I had all of his latinum and a date with one of his dabo girls, so I thought I might try my luck again. )

"Meridian”. Oh great. Another Jadzia episode. She’s becoming the Geordi for me this rewatch and that sucks, because I honestly like the character. ( After eight lifetimes as a humanoid, existing as pure consciousness... might be interesting. )

OK now this is the one that I had thought was the first introduction to the Jem’Hadar. It makes much better sense that “The Abandoned” instead allows us to learn more about this mysterious race of enforces for the Dominion. ( Sixteen years old, and dating a dabo girl. Godspeed, Jake. )

I love “The House of Quark”. It’s so melodramatic and hilarious. ( Rule of Acquisition 286: When Morn leaves, it's all over. )
